1. A power-off protection method, being applied to power sourcing equipment (PSE), comprising:
in response to the PSE being about to stop supplying power to a power device (PD) within a predetermined time, sending a first link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) message to the PD, wherein the first LLDP message comprises a power-off type length value (TLV);
receiving a second LLDP message, which is replied by the PD according to the first LLDP message, wherein the second LLDP message comprises a delayed power off reply message which is determined when the predetermined time in the power-off type length value is less than a process remaining time of a currently executed task of the PD; and
powering off the PD according to the second LLDP message.
