1. A method of operating an electronic device, the method comprising:
acquiring an image using a camera of the electronic device;
identifying at least one color associated with the acquired image based on image analysis of the acquired image;
determining a plurality of shapes for the watch face images based on the identified at least one color;
generating a plurality of watch face previews by applying the at least one color to the plurality of shapes;
displaying the plurality of watch face previews on a display of the electronic device;
receiving a selection input for selecting one of the watch face previews;
obtaining a watch face image corresponding to the selected watch face preview; and
controlling a transceiver of the electronic device to transmit the watch face image to a smart watch, wherein the watch face image is for applying to a display of the smart watch.
