1. A vehicle drive device that uses an in-wheel motor to drive a vehicle, the vehicle drive device comprising:
a vehicle speed sensor that detects a travel speed of the vehicle;
an in-wheel motor that is provided in a first wheel of the vehicle and drives the first wheel;
a body side motor that is provided in a body of the vehicle and drives a second wheel of the vehicle;
a battery that supplies an electric power to the body side motor;
a capacitor that is connected in series with the battery; and
a controller that controls the in-wheel motorand the body side motor,
wherein the in-wheel motor is driven by a voltage that is sum of an output voltage of the battery and an inter-terminal voltage of the capacitor,
wherein the controller controls the in-wheel motor so as to generate a first driving force when the travel speed of the vehicle detected by the vehicle speed sensor is equal to or more than a predetermined first vehicle speed that is more than zero, and
wherein the controller controls the body side motor so as to generate a second driving force when the travel speed of the vehicle detected by the vehicle speed sensor is less than a predetermined second vehicle speed.
