1. An intravenous administration system, comprising:
a fluid connection device having a first end, a second end, and a length, the fluid connection device including:
an internal conduit configured to deliver a medical fluid and disposed along the length; and
a housing disposed along the length and having a channel in which the internal conduit is disposed, wherein the housing includes:
more than one rigid segments, each rigid segment being an elongated segment, the more than one rigid segments including a first rigid segment and a second rigid segment spaced from the first rigid segment;
one or more joint segments, each joint segment being an elongated segment configured to bend to a predetermined bending angle with respect to at least one rigid segment, the one or more joint segments including a first joint segment disposed between the first rigid segment and the second rigid segment and configured to bend to the predetermined bending angle with respect to the first rigid segment; and
a casing that surrounds the more than one rigid segments;
wherein the casing includes the one or more joint segments; and
wherein the casing is less rigid than the more than one rigid segments.
