1. An apparatus for a portable ultrasound machine, the apparatus comprising:
a carrier including:
a first side configured to connect to a computing device, and
a second side that is opposite the first side, the second side including
a probe holder,
a first carrier connector including a first slit, and
a second carrier connector including a second slit, the first carrier connector positioned to be parallel to the second carrier connector; and
a bracket configured to connect to a beamformer, the bracket including
a lip along an edge that is configured to slide into one of the first slit of the first carrier connector or the second slit of the second carrier connector when the bracket is connected to the carrier in a first configuration, and
a face including two parallel rails that are spaced apart and dimensioned to respectively engage the first and second slits of the first and second carrier connectors when the bracket is connected to the carrier in a second configuration.
