1. A display device comprising:
a receiver configured to receive a video signal;
a display configured to display video content corresponding to the received video signal; and
a controller configured to:
receive a first command from a remote controller of the display device;
cause the display to display a full view of the video content in a reduced size based on receiving the first command, wherein the full view of the video content in the reduced size is centered along a vertical direction and first and second blank areas are respectively displayed above and below the centered full view of the video content in the reduced size, and wherein the full view of the video content is continuously displayed in the reduced size as the video signal is received by the receiver;
receive a second command from the remote controller specifying a specific area of the video content to enlarge; and
cause the display to display the full view of the video content in the reduced size with the first and second blank areas together with an enlarged view of the specific area so as not to overlap,
wherein the full view of the video content in the reduced size and the enlarged view of the specific area are both continuously displayed as the video signal is received by the receiver.
