8. A method of controlling transmission of customer traffic from a transmitting terminal over a link aggregation group to a receiving terminal, the link aggregation group comprising a first wireless link with a first dynamic capacity and a first adaptive modulation order, the link aggregation group comprising a second wireless link with a second dynamic capacity and a second adaptive modulation order, the method comprising:
receiving customer traffic;
segmenting at least a portion of the customer traffic into a first virtual container and a second virtual container, the first virtual container having a first size based on the first dynamic capacity of the first wireless link of the link aggregation group, the second virtual container having a second size based on the second dynamic capacity of the second wireless link of the link aggregation group;
generating a first air frame based on the first virtual container and on the first adaptive modulation order for wireless transmission over the first wireless link to the receiving terminal, the first air frame comprising a link aggregation group identifier; and
communicating the second virtual container over a physical connection to a slave switching circuit of a slave configured to generate a second air frame based on the second virtual container and transmit the second air frame for wireless transmission over the second wireless link of the link aggregation group to the receiving terminal, the second air frame comprising the link aggregation group identifier.
