1. A method for monitoring a state of an individual, the method comprising:
obtaining a video record of the individual performing a physical activity;
de-identifying the video record, wherein de-identifying the video record comprises
identifying a subset of points to be extracted from the video record, the subset of points allowing for future analysis of the physical activity, and
storing the subset of points without storing the video record to inhibit re-identification of the individual in the video record;
measuring the physical activity as recorded by the stored subset of points;
comparing the measured physical activity to an expected physical activity to obtain a comparison result; and
diagnosing one or more aspects of disease based on the comparison result.

9. A system for monitoring a state of an individual, comprising:
a video capture device;
one or more processors; and
a memory storing one or more non-transitory, computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
obtaining, from the video capture device, a video record of the individual performing a physical activity;
de-identifying the video record, wherein de-identifying the video record comprises
identifying a subset of points to be extracted from the video record, the subset of points allowing for future analysis of the physical activity, and
storing the subset of points without storing the video record to inhibit re-identification of the individual in the video record;
measuring the physical activity as recorded by the stored subset of points;
comparing the measured physical activity to an expected physical activity to obtain a comparison result; and
diagnosing one or more aspects of disease based on the comparison result.
