1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
analyzing a digital image to identify a set of markers within the digital image;
for a first marker the set of markers, identifying a first writing near the first marker and define a first digital image data subset having a first writing location within the digital image;
for a second marker the set of markers, identifying a second writing near the second marker and define a second digital image data subset having a second writing location within the digital image, the first and second digital image data subsets defining at least a portion of a plurality of digital image data subsets;
transforming the plurality of digital image data subsets to create one or more digital document data subsets, the transforming comprising:
transforming the first digital image data subset into a first digital document data subset;
transforming the first marker into a first structured format to be applied to the first digital document data subset;
transforming the second digital image data subset into a second digital document data subset; and
transforming the second marker into a second structured format to be applied to the first digital document data subset, the second structured format different than the first structured format; and
generating a digital document by adding the one or more digital document data subsets including at least the first digital document data subset and the second digital document data subset to the digital document, the first digital document data subset formatted in accordance with the first structured format and the second digital document data subset formatted in accordance with the second structured format.
