[ 21. An apparatus comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one memory storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to perform at least:
determining a common frequency resource allocation grid in a cell;
configuring a frequency location of a bandwidth part of a user equipment within the cell;
determining a size of a left-most precoding resource block group of a plurality of precoding resource block groups within the bandwidth part of the user equipment based on the frequency location of the bandwidth part relative to a reference point of the common frequency resource allocation grid, the frequency location of the bandwidth part being offset from the reference point of the common frequency resource allocation grid, wherein the size of the left-most precoding resource block group is equal to or lower than a configured size or a default size of one or more of the plurality of precoding resource block groups;
determining a number of one or more middle precoding resource block groups included in the plurality of precoding resource block groups in the bandwidth part based on the configured size or the default size of the one or more of the plurality of precoding resource block groups;
calculating a size of a right-most precoding resource block group in the bandwidth part included in the plurality of precoding resource block groups according to:
(NBWPstart+NBWPsize)mod PBWP,
wherein the size of the right-most precoding resource block group is equal to or lower than the configured size or the default size of the one or more of the plurality of precoding resource block groups, and wherein PBWP is the configured size or the default size, NBWPsize is a size of the bandwidth part, and NBWPstart is a starting frequency location of the bandwidth part;
transmitting downlink control information to the user equipment, wherein the downlink control information comprises a frequency allocation that accommodates the size of the one or more of the plurality of precoding resource block groups within the bandwidth part, and
transmitting downlink data to the user equipment or receive uplink data from the user equipment using the one or more of the plurality of precoding resource block groups having the frequency location and the size within the bandwidth part of the user equipment within the cell.]
