1. A wireless communication terminal, the terminal comprising:
a processor; and
a communication unit,
wherein the processor is configured to:
select a back-off counter within a contention window in a back-off procedure for transmission of a frame on a channel,
perform sensing the channel to determine whether the channel for a channel access is idle or busy,
choose whether to transmit the frame for the channel access based on whether a specific condition to protect against transmissions from other terminals performing channel access is satisfied when a value of the back-off counter decreases and reaches ‘0’, and
perform a new back-off procedure for the channel access when the value of the back-off counter has already reached ‘0’ and the frame has not been transmitted,
wherein a size of a new contention window for performing the new back-off procedure is equal to a size of the contention window of the back-off procedure.
