1. A method for supporting satellite wireless access by a user equipment (UE) to a serving public land mobile network (PLMN), performed by a first network node, the method comprising:
receiving from the UE a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) INVITE message, wherein:
the SIP INVITE message includes an indication that the UE has access to the PLMN via satellite,
the indication that the UE has access to the PLMN via satellite identifies a serving satellite radio cell for the UE, and
the serving satellite radio cell has a coverage area associated with one or more satellite-transmitted radio beams; and
sending a request to a second network node based on the indication that the UE has access to the PLMN via satellite, for location information of the UE, wherein the location information of the UE is used to assist in routing of the SIP INVITE message.
