1. An Audio Video Receiver (AVR) device for connecting at least one audio and video source device to at least one audio and video destination device, the AVR device comprising:
at least one input-output (IO) module coupled to the at least one audio and video source device and the at least one audio and video destination device; and
a plurality of System-on-Modules (SoMs), the plurality of SoMs being configured to decode and process audio and video data received from the at least one audio and video source device for rendering by the at least one audio and video destination device, and execute an operating system generating a graphical user interface (GUI).
