1. A system, comprising:
an interrupt relay coupled between a first power supply and a lighting array;
a power monitoring module coupled to the lighting array;
a microcontroller coupled to the power monitoring module, the interrupt relay, and a wireless transceiver, wherein the microcontroller is configured to perform operations for:
receiving an interrupt command, wherein the interrupt command is locally generated based on a predetermined testing schedule;
toggling the interrupt relay in response to the interrupt command, wherein toggling the interrupt relay terminates power delivery from the first power supply to the lighting array; and
measuring one or more lighting characteristics of the lighting array to determine if a second power supply can power the lighting array.
