1. A method to provide flexible access to internal data of a regulated system, the method comprising:
receiving, by a data access component within the regulated system, a loadable configuration file including at least one triggering event associated with a memory within the regulated system; receiving, at a condition monitor communicatively coupled to the data access component and provided within the regulated system, the at least one triggering event from the data access component;
monitoring, by the condition monitor, the regulated system for an occurrence of the at least one triggering event during runtime of the regulated system;
in response to determining the occurrence of the at least one triggering event, by the condition monitor, accessing, by the data access component, the memory associated with the at least one triggering event;
retrieving, by the data access component, data associated with the at least one triggering event; and
outputting, by the data access component, the data associated with the at least one triggering event to a receiving component external the regulated system.
