A composition, comprising ferrous ferric oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles, reduced graphene oxide (RGO), silicon dioxide (SiO2) and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA), wherein the Fe3O4 nanoparticles are supported on the surface of the RGO and coated by the SiO2, and wherein the EDTA is grafted on the SiO2.
