1. A printer, comprising:
a gas cushion substrate support to support a substrate above a surface of the substrate support;
a printhead assembly to deposit material on a substrate supported on the substrate support; and
a substrate handling mechanism comprising two linear actuators configured to contact an upper surface of a substrate disposed on the substrate support and to rotate the substrate from a first orientation to a second orientation by moving in two linear perpendicular directions.
