1. A method of using a three-dimensional alkynyl-containing porous aromatic framework polymer, comprising:
using the three-dimensional alkynyl-containing porous aromatic framework polymer to adsorb precious metal ions in water,
wherein the three-dimensional alkynyl-containing porous aromatic framework polymer has a structure represented by Formula I:

 and
wherein the three-dimensional alkynyl-containing porous aromatic framework polymer has a pore diameter of 0.5 nm to 1.0 nm and a pore volume of 0.3 cm3/g to 0.6 cm3/g, and
wherein adsorption is conducted under shaking at a rotation speed of 150 r/min to 200 r/min.
