1. A method for gaze-based generation of virtual effects indicators correlated with directional sounds, the method comprising:
monitoring a current gameplay session over a communication network, wherein a client device of a player is playing an interactive content title associated with a three-dimensional virtual environment during the current gameplay session;
determining that the player is associated with an orientation within the three-dimensional virtual environment;
determining a player field of vision that includes one or more three-dimensional coordinates of the three-dimensional virtual environment based on the determined orientation, wherein one or more other three-dimensional coordinates associated with the three-dimensional virtual environment are excluded from the player field of vision;
identifying that gameplay data associated with the current gameplay session indicates a directional sound associated with a source location within the three-dimensional virtual environment of the interactive content title;
identifying that the source location corresponds to one or more of the other three-dimensional coordinates excluded from the player field of vision; and
generating a virtual effect indicator to present within a display of the client device, wherein the virtual effect indicator visually indicates the source location of the indicated directional sound.
