1. A method of relieving pain caused by increased intraocular pressure within an anterior chamber of a mammalian eye, the method comprising:
positioning an electrical contact nearby an exterior surface of the mammalian eye, wherein the electrical contact comprises at least one ring electrode configured to be positioned adjacent to a ciliary body of the mammalian eye when the electrical contact is positioned nearby the exterior surface of the mammalian eye;
configuring a stimulation signal source to generate a pulsed electrical signal;
applying the pulsed electrical signal to the at least one ring electrode to reduce the intraocular pressure within the anterior chamber of the mammalian eye.
