1. A method of delivering a prosthetic valve to a position within the heart of a patient, comprising:
advancing a catheter to a native valve annulus position within the heart of the patient, the catheter having retractable members interconnected by a tether ring;
inflating the tether ring with a fluid solution, the inflated tether ring and retractable members to form a cone-like shape, the inflated tether ring coming into contact with valve annulus tissue.
