establishing a first oblique lifting vector from the nasolabial fat pad of the patient in a direction substantially toward the zygomatic retaining ligament of the patient;
establishing a second oblique lifting vector from the jowl fat pad of the patient in a direction substantially toward a point between the zygomatic retaining ligament and the masseteric retaining ligament,
defining each of the first oblique lifting vector and the second oblique lifting vector by a different lifting thread, each of the different lifting threads having a plurality of lifting cogs at a proximal end thereof and a plurality anchoring cogs at a distal end thereof, and orienting the plurality of anchoring cogs and the plurality of lifting cogs on each of the different lifting threads to be oppositely configured to respectively resist both retrograde motion outwardly and prograde motion inwardly along the corresponding first and second oblique lifting vectors.
