1. A stable emulsifiable neonicotinoid pesticide (EC) concentrate, comprising:
a solvent mixture comprising dimethylformamide (DMF), methanol, and xylene;
one or more anionic surfactants present in an amount of 1.5 to 7 wt. % based on a total weight of the EC concentrate;
one or more non-ionic surfactants present in an amount of 3 to 10 wt. % based on the total weight of the EC concentrate; and
a neonicotinoid pesticide;
wherein the neonicotinoid pesticide is present in an amount of 15 to 40% weight over volume (w/v) of the solvent mixture; and
wherein the EC concentrate has a room temperature shelf life of at least 2 years under CIPAC guidelines,
wherein a volume ratio of DMF to methanol to xylene is about 5:2:9.
