1. A method comprising:
receiving a request to select and configure a service of a plurality of services of a microservice architecture application, wherein the request includes selection criteria and an event hook including an event, a source, and a handler; and
selecting a first service from the plurality of services to configure based on the selection criteria; and
configuring the first service with the event hook, wherein the configuration causes the first service to run the handler responsive to receiving the event from the source.
