1. A memory system, comprising:
a nonvolatile memory; and
a controller electrically connected to the nonvolatile memory and configured to:
manage a plurality of namespaces; and
in response to receiving a command from a host, the command including an identifier of a namespace among the plurality of namespaces, and specifying an addressing method for the namespace, allow the host to specify a namespace among the plurality of namespaces and select an addressing method to be applied to the specified namespace to issue an access command associated with the specified namespace.
