1. A computer-implemented method for slicing object models, the method comprising:
traversing, using a group of software agents, a surface of an object model, wherein the traversing comprises repositioning one or more software agents along one or more paths on the surface of the object model during a plurality of time steps, and wherein, subsequent to the traversing, the software agents surround a first portion of the object model; and
generating a first slice that intersects the group of software agents and the first portion of the object model.
