1. A fluid booster system for an engine, comprising:
a fluid outlet port, the fluid outlet port fluidically coupled to a fluid line in fluid communication with the engine to deliver fluid from the fluid booster system to the engine;
a fluid accumulator, the fluid accumulator having a hollow main body extending between a first end and a second end, a fluid port, and a gas port;
a gas source, wherein the gas source is fluidically coupled to the fluid accumulator to deliver pressurized gas to the fluid accumulator through the gas port;
a movable sealing barrier residing within the hollow main body of the fluid accumulator, wherein the fluid directed into the fluid accumulator forces the sealing barrier to move within the fluid accumulator and the sealing barrier acts as a seal between the first end and the second end of the fluid accumulator;
a control system configured to control the flow of gas to the fluid accumulator;
whereby the flow of gas into the fluid accumulator forces the sealing barrier to move within the fluid accumulator to discharge accumulated fluid through the fluid accumulator port and through the fluid outlet port.
