1. A system, comprising:
a portable locker configured to contain contents; and
a remote server;
a docking station for the portable locker;
wherein:
the portable locker is configured to prevent access to the contents until the portable locker arrives at a preset destination from a starting location and notify a remote server in response to a determination that the portable locker is not within a threshold range of a user device during transit to the predefined destination,
the docking station is positioned at the starting location; and
the docking station is configured to:
secure the portable locker to the docking station:
collect a retinal scan of a user requesting the portable locker;
verify access rights of the user requesting the portable locker based on the retinal scan; and
release the portable locker to the user.
