1. A method of treating glaucoma in a patient need thereof comprising administering to the patient an ophthalmic formulation comprising an aqueous suspension containing brimonidine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt at a concentration of from about 0.05 to about 0.5% weight by volume, and a cation exchange resin, wherein the suspension is suitable for once-a-day topical instillation.
