1. An apparatus comprising:
a catheter defining a lumen; and
a radiopaque wire comprising a single piece of material arranged around the lumen of the catheter to form:
a first, second, and third tightly wound sections that each comprise a same first length; and
a first, second, and third loosely wound sections that each comprise a same second length that is longer than the first length,
wherein the first tightly wound section is spaced from the second tightly wound section by the first loosely wound section and the second tightly wound section is spaced from the third tightly would section by the second loosely wound section such that the first, second, and third tightly wound sections comprise an even spacing between one another,
wherein the first loosely wound section is spaced from the second loosely wound section by the second tightly wound section and the second loosely wound section is spaced from the third loosely wound section by the third tightly wound section such that the first, second, and third loosely wound sections comprises an even spacing between one another.
