1. A compound of formula M(LA)x(LB)y(LC)z,
wherein x is 1, 2, or 3; y is 0, 1, or 2; z is 0, 1, or 2; and x+y+z is the oxidation state of the metal M;
wherein LA comprises the following Formula I

OG Complex Work Unit Chemistry
wherein each R3 and R4 independently represents mono, di, tri, tetra substitutions or no substitution;
wherein R3 and R4 are each independently hydrogen or a substituent selected from the group consisting of deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carboxylic acid, ether, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof;
R1 and R2 are each independently an aryl or heteroaryl group;
wherein LB and LC are each a bidentate ligand;
wherein any two adjacent R1, R2, R3, and R4 can be joined to form a ring, which may be further substituted;
wherein LA is coordinated to a metal M wherein coordination to the metal M occurs from a carbon or nitrogen atom of LA;
wherein LA can be linked with LB or LC to comprise a bidentate, tridentate, tetradentate, pentadentate or hexadentate ligand;
each LA, and LB or LC, if present, forms a 5-membered chelate when coordinating to the metal M unless said LB or LC is an acetylacetonate group; and
at least one of the following is true:
i) at least one of LB and LC is an acetylacetonate group;
ii) a carbon atom of the rings containing R3 and R4 coordinates to the metal M; or
iii) R1 or R3 is an aryl group having a substituent wherein said substituent is an aryl or heteroaryl group that coordinates to the metal M.
