1. A random access method, wherein the method comprises:
determining, by a terminal device in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) system, a target timing advance (TA) in a plurality of TAs according to first information, wherein the first information is associated with an area where the terminal device is located; and
sending, by the terminal device, a first message in a random access procedure to a network device according to the target TA;
wherein a cell where the terminal device is located comprises a plurality of areas, the plurality of TAs respectively correspond to the plurality of areas, the first information comprises a target area where the terminal device is located in the plurality of areas, and the terminal device is a terminal device with a positioning capability, wherein the plurality of areas are coverage areas of a plurality of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) with different SSB indexes respectively;
wherein the determining, by the terminal device, the TA in the plurality of TAs according to the first information comprises:
receiving, by the terminal device, indication information sent by the network device. wherein the indication information is used for indicating a corresponding relationship between the plurality of TAs and the plurality of areas;
determining, by the terminal device, that a TA corresponding to the target area is the target TA according to the target area and the corresponding relationship;
wherein the method further comprises:
acquiring, by the terminal device, information of the plurality of areas from the network device;
determining, by the terminal device, a position of the terminal device based on the positioning capability;
determining, by the terminal device, the target area based on the information of the plurality of areas and the position of the terminal device.
