1. A method for determining a distance between first and second devices, the method comprising:
transmitting a first packet by the first device toward the second device;
receiving, by the first device from the second device, a first phase and a first amplitude determined for the first packet by the second device;
receiving, by the first device from the second device, a second packet;
determining, by the first device, a second phase and a second amplitude for the second packet; and
determining, by the first device, the distance between the first and second devices based on the first phase and the first amplitude determined for the first packet by the second device and the second phase and the second amplitude determined for the second packet by the first device;
wherein a packet comprises an access address.
