1. A method of operating a receiving radio node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
receiving signaling based on evaluating Phase Tracking Reference Signaling, PTRS, associated to the signaling, the evaluating including assuming a power level of PTRS relative to associated data signaling based at least in part on (a) a number of PTRS ports transmitted with a physical downlink shared channel, PDSCH, and (b) a number of multiple input-multiple output, MIMO, layers associated with each port, a power level of the PTRS being allocated from a muted resource element to increase PTRS transmit power while keeping a same average PDSCH transmit power and while keeping a same total transmit power level for transmitting both the PDSCH and the PTRS.
