1. A method for determining a data buffer status, wherein the method comprises:
receiving, by a first multi-link device (MLD), bufferable data from a second MLD over a first link between the first and second MLDs, wherein the bufferable data comprises a first field, the first field indicates whether more bufferable data, corresponding to each data type indicated by any traffic identifier mapped to at least the first link, is buffered in the second MLD, wherein the first field is only one bit; and
determining, by the first MLD based on the first field, whether the more bufferable data corresponding to the each data type is buffered in the second MLD.
