1. A printing device comprising:
a print head configured to print a patch chart on a print medium, the patch chart including a plurality of patches including a plurality of first patches and one or more second patches, each of the plurality of first patches having a predetermined color, each of the one or more second patches having a user specified color represented by an input color value;
a measuring member configured to measure a color of a patch; and
a controller,
wherein the patch chart includes:
an entire patch area having a first patch area and a second patch area different from the first patch area, in the first patch area the plurality of first patches being arranged, in the second patch area the one or more second patches being arranged;
at least three first marker images arranged at positions surrounding or within the entire patch area; and
at least one second marker image, each of the at least one second marker image being arranged at a position surrounding or within the second patch area in the patch chart,
wherein the controller is configured to perform:
a second-patch measurement process to control the measuring member to measure the color of each of the one or more second patches a plurality of times to acquire a plurality of color values for each of the one or more second patches, wherein each of the plurality of color values includes a first component value, a second component value, and a third component value, wherein the second-patch measurement process acquires a plurality of first component values, a plurality of second component values, and a plurality of third component values for each of the one or more second patches by acquiring the plurality of color values for each of the one or more second patches;
calculating an average value of at least two of the plurality of color values for each of the one or more second patches;
generating a table correlating an input color value with the average value as a measured color value for each of the one or more second patches;
acquiring position information on each of the at least three first marker images, the position information on each of the at least three first marker images being based on a position of the measuring member opposing a corresponding first marker image of the at least three first marker images;
acquiring position information on each of the plurality of first patches on the basis of the position information on a corresponding first marker image of the at least three first marker images;
acquiring position information on each of the at least one second marker image, the position information on each of the at least one second marker image being based on a position of the measuring member opposing a corresponding second marker image of the at least one second marker image; and
acquiring position information on each of the one or more second patches on the basis of the position information on a corresponding second marker image of the at least one second marker image,
wherein the average value includes a first component average value, a second component average value, and a third component average value,
wherein the first component average value is an average value of at least two first component values included in the at least two of the plurality of color values for each of the one or more second patches, the second component average value is an average value of at least two second component values included in the at least two of the plurality of color values for each of the one or more second patches, and the third component average value is an average value of at least two third component values included in the at least two of the plurality of color values for each of the one or more second patches.
