1. A method comprising:
determining that a first application uses an active-standby high availability model;
determining that the first application is deployed within at least a first container and a second container on a first host according to the active-standby high availability model;
determining at least a first network address and a second network address assigned to the first application;
determining at least a first network address assigned to the first container and a second network address assigned to the second container;
determining that a second application uses an active-active high availability model;
determining that the second application is deployed within at least a third container on the first host and a fourth container on a second host of the plurality of hosts according to the active-active high availability model;
determining at least a third network address and a fourth network address assigned to the second application;
determining at least a third network address assigned to the third container and a fourth network address assigned to the fourth container; and
configuring networking of the first and second hosts and of the first, second, third, and fourth containers to establish routes at least between;
the first network address assigned to the first application and the first network address assigned to the first container,
the second network address assigned to the first application and the second network address assigned to the second container,
the third network address assigned to the second application and the third network address assigned to the third container, and
the fourth network address assigned to the second application and the fourth network address assigned to the fourth container.
