1. A method comprising:
generating, by a regulator, a comparison signal based on a comparison between a voltage from a first circuit and a voltage of a programmable portion of the regulator, wherein the programmable portion comprises a resistor bank array;
controlling operation of a ring oscillator by a first signal that is based on the comparison signal and that is received by the ring oscillator; and
realigning a phase of a waveform of the ring oscillator with a first clock signal based on a realigned signal received by the ring oscillator.
