1. A vending massage chair, comprising:
a processor; and
a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising programming instructions that are configured to cause the processor to:
detect a presence of a person in a seat of the vending massage chair;
obtain a full or partial body heat map for the person that shows relative temperatures of different parts of a body of the person;
select at least one massage service parameter using information obtained based on the full or partial body heat map; and
provide the massage in accordance with the at least one massage service parameter that was selected.
