1. An electronic gaming system comprising:
a server having a plurality of prizes with respective prize thresholds, and an overflow prize; and
a client gaming device, remotely coupled to the server, the client gaming device comprising a processor and a memory, the memory storing a symbol set including a plurality of feature symbols, and a plurality of instructions, which, when executed, cause the processor to, at least:
receive data indicative of the plurality of prizes and the overflow prize,
cause the client gaming device to animate the plurality of prizes and the overflow prize,
cause the client gaming device to animate a first prize being increased in response to a wager being placed,
cause the client gaming device to animate the overflow prize being increased to a different overflow prize in response to the first prize having reached a first prize threshold associated with the first prize, and
cause the client gaming device to generate a win based on the different overflow prize in response to the first prize and a second prize not being awarded.
