1. A computer-implemented method for displaying an augmented reality display using lock related indicia, comprising:
detecting, via a mobile communications device, a lock related indicia on or proximate a physical lock; and
generating, on a display of the mobile communications device, an augmented reality display comprising an unlock code for the physical lock overlain upon an image comprising the physical lock or the lock related indicia.
