1. A terminal, comprising:
a first portion;
a second portion;
wherein the second portion is physically integrated with the first portion;
a payment card industry (PCI)-compliant secure processing system;
a touchscreen, operably connected to the secure processing system and disposed in the first portion;
wherein the touchscreen is configured to receive an input from a first user;
a payment instrument reader, operably connected to the secure processing system;
a main processing system, being separate from and operably connected to the secure processing system;
a display, disposed in the second portion and operably connected to the main processing system;
wherein the display is configured to display information to a second user;
wherein the first portion is disposed at a suitable angle relative to the second portion such that the touchscreen is compliant with a personal identification (PIN) transaction security (PTS) requirement.
