1. An apparatus for suppressing transmission of signals, the apparatus comprising:
a first input for receiving power from a power source via one or more power input conductors;
a second input for connecting to a ground input conductor;
for each of the one or more power input and ground input conductors, an inductor associated therewith and forming an electrical path from the first or second inputs through the associated inductor to an associated power output conductor or ground output conductor of an output coupled with a signal source, the associated one or more power output conductors providing the received power to the signal source to power operation thereof, the associated ground output conductor providing a ground to the signal source; and
wherein signals from the signal source are made present on at least the ground output conductor and prevented from being further made present on the ground input conductor, and further wherein at least the inductor associated with the ground input conductor and ground output conductor further includes a sensor operative to sense one or more characteristics of the signals made present, the sensor being coupled with a processor operative to convert the sensed one or more characteristics to digital data representative thereof and process the digital data to derive at least one result therefrom.
