1. A process for manufacturing at least one ophthalmic lens having at least one optical function, comprising:
providing a starting optical system of said at least one ophthalmic lens, said starting optical system having an outline adapted to a shape of a predetermined frame and having a base optical function delivered by a front face and a back face of said starting optical system; and
additively manufacturing an optical element that is complementary to said at least one ophthalmic lens, by depositing a plurality of predetermined volume elements of at least one material having a predetermined refractive index, directly on at least one of said front face and back face of said starting optical system;
said additive manufacturing step comprising defining manufacturing settings of said complementary optical element from characteristics of said at least one optical function to be provided to said at least one ophthalmic lens, from characteristics of said at least one base optical function of said starting optical system, from geometric characteristics of said starting optical system, including geometric characteristics in relation to the outline adapted to the shape of the predetermined frame, and from said predetermined refractive index of said at least one material.
