1. A cutter system comprising:
a drill bit comprising:
a body,
a static blade attached to the body,
a translatable blade attached to the body; and
at least one polycrystalline diamond compact cutting structure (PDC cutting structure) attached to the translatable blade;
an actuator coupled to the drill bit; and
a well control system coupled to the actuator, the well control system configured to transmit a signal to the actuator based on drilling data regarding the static blade in a first cutting position in a drilling operation,
wherein the actuator, in response to receiving the signal from the well control system, changes the translatable blade to a first rest position that does not engage earthen material,
wherein the actuator, in response to receiving the signal from the well control system, further changes the translatable blade from the first rest position to a second cutting position that engages the earthen material in the drilling operation,
wherein the body includes a first cavity cooperatively positioned angularly away from the static blade,
wherein the translatable blade translates into the first cavity, and
wherein the first cavity comprises a first restricting device within said first cavity, so that said first restricting device engages said translatable blade in the first rest position, and
wherein the signal comprises a comparison of a data series of received drilling data with all of the drilling data.
