1. A method for binding sand in a subterranean geologic formation, comprising:
injecting a first composition, a second composition, and a third composition into the subterranean geologic formation, wherein the first composition comprises CaO, the second composition comprises MgO, and the third composition comprises NH4HF2;
injecting a first thermochemical fluid comprising NaNO2 and a second thermochemical fluid comprising NH4Cl into the subterranean geologic formation to raise a temperature of the subterranean geologic formation to 120-180° C.;
reacting the third composition respectively with the first composition and the second composition to form CaF2 and MgF2 in the subterranean geologic formation; and
precipitating the CaF2 and the MgF2 on sand grains of the subterranean geologic formation to bind the sand grains together into a consolidated matrix in the subterranean geologic formation, wherein the sand grains of the subterranean geologic formation have an average particle size of between 0.1 and 0.4 mm before injecting the first composition, the second composition and the third composition into the subterranean geologic formation.
