1. A nitride phosphor, comprising aluminum, silicon, nitrogen, cerium, lithium, and at least one selected from the group consisting of calcium and strontium, and having a cerium molar content of more than 0.01 when an aluminum molar content is 1,
wherein the nitride phosphor comprises, as a host crystal, a crystal having the same crystal structure as CaAlSiN3, and has a crystallite size of 70 nm or smaller as determined from an X-ray diffraction pattern, and
an abundance ratio of cerium is higher in a surface of a nitride phosphor particle than inside of the nitride phosphor particle.
