1. A compound having a structure represented by a formula:

wherein Z1 is CR2b and Z2 is CR2c;
wherein R1 is linear or branched C1-C4 alkyl;
wherein each of R2a, R2b, R2c, R2d, R3a, and R3b is independently selected from hydrogen and halogen;
wherein each of R3c and R3d is independently selected from hydrogen and halogen;
wherein R8 is selected from —B(OR11)2 and —B(R12)3;
wherein each occurrence of R11 is independently selected from hydrogen and linear or branched C1-C8 alkyl,
or wherein each occurrence of R11 is covalently bonded together, and, together with the intermediate atoms, comprise a structure:

 and is substituted with 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 linear or branched C1-C4 alkyl groups; and
wherein each occurrence of R12 is independently halogen,
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
