1. A computer-implemented method for managing self-driving behavior of a self-driving vehicle, the method implemented using a computer system including one or more processors in communication with one or more memory devices, the method comprising:
receiving, by the one or more processors, manual mode driving data regarding an actual driving behavior of a first driver in a manual driving mode;
receiving, by the one or more processors, safe operating range data, wherein the safe operating range data includes data regarding actual driving behavior of one or more drivers different than the first driver;
creating, by the one or more processors, a custom control defining a vehicle behavior threshold based upon the manual mode driving data, including limiting the vehicle behavior threshold based upon the safe operating range data; and
controlling the self-driving behavior of the self-driving vehicle using the custom control.
