1. A powered air purifying respirator (“PAPR”) assembly, comprising:
a blower unit having an air inlet and an air outlet;
a hose system removably connected to said air outlet for delivery of cleaned air to a user, said hose system comprising:
two circular cross-section air carrying conduits extending between a hose inlet and a hose outlet; and
an oval shaped outer tube extending between said hose inlet and said hose outlet and enclosing said two circular cross-section air carrying conduits;
wherein said two circular cross-section air carrying conduits include reinforcing coils extending about an outer perimeter of each conduit to provide resistance against collapse.
